James Newton Burch – 36th Georgeia Infantry, Company I; captured at battle of Champion Hill May 16, 1863 sent to Ft. Delaware, fought in Chattanooga campaign, deserted Gordon county, GA. June 2, 1864 signed oath and sent north of the Ohio River.
Andrew J. Burch – 4th Georgia Infantry, Company F; Captured at battle of Spotsylvania Court House, VA., died in prison at Ft. Delaware on Feb. 22, 1865.
James M. Burch – 4th Georgia Infantry, Company F; killed at battle of Chancellorsville, VA. on May 3, 1863
